Carry-On Pet Policy:

Pets (such as dogs, cats, birds, etc.) that meet legal and documentary requisites may be accepted as hold or cabin luggage. To be able to travel in the cabin, the animals must be under a specific weight and size, except for guide dogs. The maximum weight allowed for the animal, including the carrier or cage in which it is travelling, is 8 Kg. The container may be a maximum of 45 cm in length, 35 cm in width and 25 cm in depth, provided that the sum of those 3 measurements does not exceed 105 cm. As the number of cages is restricted on the basis of the type of airplane, the carriage of animals must be authorized by the booking office. Authorization will only be given for journeys when all legs are confirmed. Charges for carry on pets (each way): Spain – €25, Europe, Africa and the Middle East – €50, America* and Angola – €150. *If the origin is America the rate per animal is USD 150 per animal, except for return flights with origin in Brazil. The charge per animal for those flights is USD 240.

 

Checked Baggage/Cargo Policy: 

To be able to carry your pet in the hold you must put it in a cage or pet pack that is made of resistant and secure material with a lock to guarantee that it won’t open at any time, adapted to the animal’s size and in good condition to ensure the animal’s safety, ventilated and with a waterproofed floor. The number of cages or pet packs and their sizes is limited by the type of aircraft. Charges for the carriage of pets in the hold, in each direction: Spain, Europe, Africa and the Middle East – €120, America and Angola – €300, originating in America*, Nigeria or Israel – USD 300. *For flights out of Brazil (return), the charge per animal is USD 240.

 

Carrier Guidelines:

For carry on pets, the maximum weight including cage or pet pack is 8 kg. Maximum container measurements are 45 cm long, 35 cm wide and 25 cm height and the sum of the three dimensions cannot exceed 105 cm. The cage or pet pack should be strong, ventilated, with a waterproof floor and it should be safe.

 

Pet Reservations:
